Executive Producer and company founder Mark Fielder has also been BAFTA nominated twice, for the Channel 4 series Elizabeth and Six Wives of Henry VIII. He has more than 25 years experience working in senior creative roles with BBC Television, BBC Radio, United Productions and Granada.
In his current role at Quickfire, Mark executive-produced impactful series such as The Last Tommy for BBC1, innovative science series such as Lie Lab for Channel 4, and popular programming for the One Show on BBC1. Quickfire has also made films for Channel 4’s Dispatches, as well as the well-reviewed In the Footsteps of Churchill, an eight part series for BBC2 and BBC4, presented by Professor Richard Holmes. In 2010 Mark co-directed Secrets of the Arabian Nights for BBC4 and executive produced Killer Queen? for National Geographic and Five. He recently produced and directed the Great Falklands Gamble for Five and History UK, which was nominated for an RTS West award. |
